This is the outcome section of my professional experience project. Here I will show what I have made and achieved from my work experience.
This is the first draft for the "what we did in rehearsal" video for the Phoenix Players. The feedback I received for this is that it was quite slow paced and could use a different song to achieve this. I also originally planned to have a interview in this video, but found it also affected the pacing and didn't really fit. Have a look at the updated version to see how I took on this feedback.
This short video gives an insight into the phoenix players rehearsals in a fun and fast paced way. Producing this video allowed me to work on my Premiere Pro skills and gave me experience working with a client to bring their vision to life.
The cooking scene is another trailer for the Phoenix Players upcoming show Roleplay. This was another good experience as I worked with actors and got experience with how to direct actors that are improvising.
This is the first draft for the video, and the feedback was that overall they liked it. It was a bit too long so they want me to shorten it to 1 minute / 1 minute 20 seconds. They also would like to have the characters names flash up to give the scene more context.
I will continue working on the video past the hand in date for this assessment.
The yoga scene is a trailer for the Phoenix Players upcoming show Roleplay. This was a great experience as it allowed me to work with actors and focus on problem solving when it came to the shoot.
This is the script and evidence of me taking the videos, the clip is still being edited past the due date by another member of publicity.
This is our Trello board for Ascendit. This lays out all of our tasks with descriptions and deadlines so they get completed within the time frame. Examples of what is on the board range from "get eight t-shirt blanks" to "practice presentation before pitch."
Here are some of the moodboards we created in order to create a general idea of what we want the brand to look like. We used themes of nature and of climbing as a main starting point as this was what we wanted the brand to focus on from the start.
This is the presentation that the graphic designer produced after our meetings and discussions about our logos. This was interesting to be apart of because I hadn't experienced a graphic designers process. It was very rewarding after having explained what we wanted for the logo to come to life.
We have also created an instagram and a pinterest account for Ascendit. We hope to grow these accounts and utilise them to grow the brand and maximise reach. These accounts have been linked below.
